24 Hours in Miami with Lucid Air

24 hours in Miami isn't enough, even when being chauffeured around town in the luxury Lucid Air electric car. Here's where we stayed, what we saw and what we loved.

Lucid Air Touring In Miami

Michelin Stars, luxury electric cars, and chic hotels. Is there a better way to go?

Last week I jetted off to Miami for a five-star travel experience with Lucid, maker of the Lucid Air Touring electric vehicle, aka the electric car that’s taking the world by storm, and Michelin for a front row unveiling of its newest starred restaurants.

Once in Miami, we toured the city in the Lucid Air, stayed at a chic hotel, dined at a Michelin-star restaurant, and attended the Michelin Star Ceremony, ending the night at a killer after-party.

We started the day touring Miami in the Lucid Air, a game-changer in both electric and luxury cars. This winner of the 2023 World Luxury Car title boasts a sleek design, advanced technology, and a driving experience like no other. The electric powertrain, which can deliver up to 1,100 horsepower and more than 500 miles on a charge – the most in the industry – allows you to say goodbye to gas-guzzling vehicles and hello to a more sustainable future – and that is a luxury.

Le Jardinier Restaurant

This Michelin-starred gem has been making waves in the culinary world with its innovative plant-based cuisine. With a focus on using locally sourced, seasonal ingredients, Le Jardinier offers a unique and flavorful dining experience that is sure to impress both herbivores and carnivores alike. From the perfectly plated asparagus mimosa (Sadly, it didn’t come with an actual mimosa) to the expertly grilled bavette, each dish is a delightful balance of flavors and textures. Needless to say, it was an amazing lunch experience.

Attending the Michelin Guide Ceremony

The Miami Michelin Guide Ceremony took place at LoanDepot Park. During the ceremony, a number of Florida restaurants were honored with a star or a Bib Gourmand for 2023. There were lots of winners, 8 new restaurants won a Bib Gourmand award and 4 new restaurants received one star. We were lucky to be able to sample some of the food and wine and participate in some fun photo opportunities.

Cote After Party

Cote After-party

What night is complete without an after party? We headed to Cote, the Michelin-starred steakhouse that boasts a unique Korean-style dining experience. From the moment you step into the restaurant, you’re transported to an upscale, modern Korean eatery with an eclectic menu of different beef cuts grilled to perfection. With attentive service and a lively atmosphere, Cote is the perfect spot for an intimate night out or a wild group celebration– or anything in between. Once it got late, there were girls dancing with fire on tables, cigar rolling, and a full party vibe. It’s Miami, after all.

All in all, it was an incredible 24 hours in Miami. But clearly, not enough time; really, you should spend the entire weekend in Miami. Though you’ll need to stay longer to try out all the Michelin restaurants and hopefully, experience the Lucid Air Grand Touring – I hear it has massaging seats!
