One of Canada’s largest auto shows is on this week- the Vancouver Auto Show! The auto show has more than 450 new and customized cars for 2019-2020. At the Vancouver Convention Centre West, you can see hundreds of new cars (and cool concept cars), enjoy fun activities and lots of time for pressure-free tire kicking. It makes for a great Spring break outing whether you go alone or bring the family. The auto show runs through Sunday, March 24 and is the best-attended consumer auto show in Western Canada. Here are some of the highlights from the auto show.

The Maclaren Senna is simply stunning!

The Maclaren Senna

The McLaren Senna is the personification of McLaren’s DNA at its most extreme, creating the purest connection between car and driver. It is the most track-focused road car we have ever built, and it will set the fastest lap times of any McLaren to date. That is what has driven us to build a track car that is unshamefully without compromise. One that is legalized for road use, but not sanitized to suit it. Nothing else matters but to deliver the most intense driving experience around a circuit.

Inspired by one of McLaren’s greatest racing drivers, the McLaren Senna is utterly dedicated to allowing the driver to be the best they can possibly be.

Rean On: Sports Cars Are Making Noise at the Auto Shows This Year!

Plenty of Test Drives Available

The Vancouver Auto Show offers great opportunities to test drive multiple cars without the pressure of car dealership visits. This is a big help to narrow down your car buying into one thorough visit. Not buying a car? Test for fun! Test drive a Tesla Model 3, Chevrolet Bolt EV, Honda Clarity, Nissan Leaf, Hyundai Nexo Hydrogen, Kia Niro BEV and Volkswagen E-Golf (and more!) if you’re looking for fuel economy and earth-friendly cars. Try the new Toyota models and if it’s luxury you’re after, plenty of Lexus cars are available to drive at the show, too.

Stop by the Acura booth to get a glimpse of the gorgeous NSX.

Feel the Need for Speed?

Head over to the Acura booth to grab the wheel and show off your racing chops as you pilot an NSX around a virtual track. After you virtually test drive the NSX, see the track-ready embodiment of Acura’s Precision Crafted Performance approach to racing, the Acura NSX GT3 Evo.

Volkswagon Playcare

You can drop your 3+ year old off (must be potty trained) for free child-care on the upper level while you browse the show floor! Crafts, dress-up and more are provided to keep them entertained. This way, you can go get that test drive in without worrying about car seats.

The Honda Passport is built for adventure and precious cargo, making it a favorite family car.

Honda Passport

Honda offers up the perfect middle ground between their somewhat compact CR-V crossover and the full-size seven-passenger Pilot by introducing the five-seater SUV, the Honda Passport. Built for adventure and precious cargo, check out the Passport in person this week at the Vancouver Auto Show.
