Shopping, Food, Music and More, To Benefit I Live Here I Give Here and Health Alliance for Austin Musicians
Shopping by yourself, for yourself, is so last year. On June 5th, shopping for a cause will take center stage at Chevy Shop Social: Austin in Austin, TX. Local influencers from fashion, food, music and more will hop into brand new Chevrolets and hit the town’s best local retailers to buy Austin-centric merchandise that will be raffled off to benefit local charities.
Working in teams of two and armed with $300 gift cards supplied by AGirlsGuidetoCars, the influencers will comb boutiques and shops around the city during the day, then meet up at the Getaway Motor Club for a party featuring food trucks, live music and the raffle.

The best part? You can join in too! Just follow along all day by following the hashtag #ChevyShopSocial on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook, where participants will post photos of their purchases. Then, head to the Getaway Motor Club at 6PM where food trucks will offer samples and full size portions for sale. There’ll be craft beers, and you can have your photo taken in a Corvette at our photo booth. Or, you can take your own photo in the real thing: we’ll have a fleet of Chevrolets on display, including the redesigned Corvette Stingray.
During the party you’ll be able to purchase raffle tickets and qualify to win any or all of the items bought that day. Proceeds will benefit I Live Here I Give Here and Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM), with Chevy providing matching funds up to $5,000.
