Planning to Rush a Sorority This Fall? Your Car May be the Ultimate Sorority Rush Outfit
Greek life is the social goal for many college freshmen: Once you find your tribe through sorority rush, you’re set for the next four years, and for life, with friends, networks and a social calendar designed never to fail.
But making this choice demands care and consideration; it’s sort of like speed dating with a commitment at the end: can you really tell in a few weeks which sorority is the right one for you? And, you have to prep; you’re being judged by a house full of women who need to ensure you are the right fit for their next few years of college, a lifetime of association and their social circle.
The College Greek Tradition of Sorority Rush Is Alive and Well, If Evolved
Greek life began as clubs for academic study and camaraderie; lonely students new to campus could find friends to share study groups and test prep, as well as extracurriculars, holiday celebrations and events. More The Holdovers than Bama Rush.
Sorority life has evolved and differs campus to campus and state to state, but one commonality remains: Deciding which sorority to rush is an important decision. One way to help determine which sorority is best for you is your car style, as in “I love the Jeep life, and so do the sisters of AXO.” We went to Owlcation for the lowdown on the top sororities; these are just some of the most popular organizations, there are many more, and the cars that are a great fit for sorority rush and the days after.
