Cleaning Out Old Car Models: Best of the New from Good Housekeeping
Good Housekeeping inaugural 2016 Best New Car Awards.
The Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval started in 1902 and its original mission was to test ‘pure food products.’ This has expanded over the years to include household products like vacuum cleaners, beauty products and clothing. And now, in conjunction with Car and Driver magazine, cars.
Good Housekeeping magazine just published its first list of best new cars.
Here are the top picks:
- Compact car: 2015 Mazda3 S 5-Door Grand Touring (which Fadra Nally raved about when she test drove it)
- Luxury compact car: 2015 Audi A3 Sedan 2.0T Quattro S Tronic
- Luxury sedan: 2016 BMW 328I sedan
- Sedan : 2016 Chevrolet Malibu Premier (which also has great teen safe technology)
- Eco car: 2016 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid Limited (I drove the Sonata and also loved it)
- Luxury Eco car: 2015 Tesla Model S 70D
- Luxury crossover: 2016 Volvo XC90 T6 AWD Inscription
- Crossover: 2016 Ford Edge Titanium FWD (Nicole Wakelin gave the thumbs up to the technology in this vehicle)
Now the burning question is, will Car and Driver start rating canned soups and yoga pants?
