What to See And Do at the 2018 Houston Auto Show
Shop, drive and have fun. What else is there???
We love the Houston Auto Show. Mostly because it’s 700,000 square feet of new cars, from luxury to trucks to SUVs to roadsters to classic vintage collectables.
But it’s also a great place to shop for a new car. You can look closely at the car of your dreams and then seek out the practical car you really need. Product specialists, those nicely dressed men and women at each brand’s exhibit, are highly trained experts who can answer all your questions, from details about the cars and their features to pricing and more. So ask!
And there’s no pressure. None of the cars on the floor are actually for sale; you have to go to a dealer to make a purchase. So you can dream, shop and have fun without worry that you’ll fall in love and make an expensive mistake. #Win
We just spent two days at the Houston Auto Show and here’s what we found to be fun and delightful.
This post is part of a campaign sponsored by the Houston Auto Show. All opinions are my own.
Toyota Helped Houston Recover from Hurricane Harvey
Did you know that Toyota helped St. Bernard Project to figure out how to master disaster relief? This non-profit rescue organization was here to help in the wake of Hurricane Harvey and is still on site not just helping people rebuild, but helping the city and other non-profits prepare for the next time. If you see this SBP truck in the Toyota exhibit, stop for a moment and watch the video and read the sign. You’ll be inspired to help out, too.
Take a Test Drive in a Convertible —and Yes, YOU Get to Drive!
There are 19 brands on site with test drives and not a single sales-pressure tactic in use! You do need to show a valid license, take a quick breathalyzer test and fill out some info, but it’s painless. Don’t miss Land Rover’s coupe.
Check Out the Texas Inspired RAM 1500 Longhorn Edition
This was seen for the first time ever at the Houston Auto Show. Climb in, look around thank God you’re a country girl.
