2015 Chevrolet Suburban: Sleek, Strong and Dependable
Introducing Chevy’s new Suburban, family-friendly and luxurious
It’s easy to think of the 2015 Chevrolet Suburban as the ‘Big Daddy’ of the brand: strong, capable, dependable.
And now, it’s also pretty darn luxurious.
The 2015 Chevy model is sleeker on the outside, with inlaid doors that lead to a more aerodynamic, quieter ride.
Inside the 2015 Chevrolet Suburban
The interior offers more comfort and functionality, and a new fold-flat second and third row seat system in the back (this momma LOVES this feature!). Even better: they fold flat with the touch of a button.
Safety and Technology
The 2015 model even offers a new OnStar 4G LTE with available Wi-Fi hotspot.
The safety features are even more impressive, with a first of its kind (in this car segment) front-seat center air bag on models with front bucket seats. That’s great news if you’re in an accident that might send the driver into the passenger’s seat, or vice versa.
The adaptive cruise control with Crash Imminent Braking is another great feature, along with the seat vibration alerting the driver to a potential crash threat.
Big families are going to love all the space and the ability to seat up to NINE people (in the LS model). The fuel economy is better than most of its competitors in the SUV market with the EcoTec3 5.3L V8 engine.
Bring on the Power
Of course, there’s still a ton of power under the hood of the new 2015 Chevrolet Suburban with a 355 horsepower engine that can tow up to 8000 pounds.
I put it to the test on a recent trip to Walt Disney World with the TravelingMom.com writer network. We were joined by a Chevy PR rep, Otie McKinley, who explained all the new changes to us, along with the vehicle’s OnStar features.
