Cadillac is a pinnacle of luxury and style, and it’s all-electric Escalade IQ version, announced last year, takes that idea even further. The prototype included innovations such as a “pillar to pillar” dashboard screen, a premium AKG sound system, headrests with speakers and a second row “Executive” package that adds stowable tray tables, screens and a center console with controls and storage.
Now, many of those innovations will be available in the 2025 Cadillac Escalade, bringing them to the non-EV buying luxury world. The 2025 model will also include subtle but significant design changes as well. While not a complete redesign, the 2025 model focuses on a crisper, bolder look and feel with more technology and bespoke details exclusive to each trim.
Here’s how 2025 Cadillac Escalade buyers will fast forward into the luxury future.
The Cadillac Escalade Future Starts with a Bold New Front End
The modern look starts with new vertical headlights but also, re-sets the stage with a new logo badge. The updated front end gives the 2025 Cadillac Escalade an immediately recognizable but more modern look. The design includes advanced lighting technology that stacks headlights vertically instead of horizontally and adds illuminated front crest, and on the V-Series and Premium Luxury Platinum trims, an illuminated front grille.
The 2025 Escalade will be offered in six distinct trims – Luxury, Premium Luxury,
Sport, Premium Luxury Platinum, Sport Platinum and V-Series.
The current engines, which deliver solid V8 performance, remain. The base engine generates 420 HP and the V-Series 6.2L supercharged V8 delivers 682 horsepower.
The Rear Look Remains Identifiably Cadillac Escalade
Building on a refined 2025 design are exterior tail lights, inspired by the Cadillac “fin,” a vertical visual theme that remains an iconic signal. For passengers, Cadillac is adding a power open-and-close exterior door entry system to Platinum and V-Series trims: All four doors power open and close at the touch of a button on the door handle or from the command center, and if activated, the driver’s door will automatically open as the driver approaches with the key fob.
Technology That Turns Heads in the 2025 Cadillac Escalade
The most striking feature in the cabin is the curved pillar-to-pillar 55-inch total diagonal display, increased from the current 33″ screen, which creates an immersive experience. The system features “Hey Google” has voice activated control, navigation, an app store, and more. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also available, something that Cadillac isn’t offering in its electric vehicles.
The passenger screen is only viewable by the passenger, and a lower screen allows additional function such as climate controls.
Also features is a customizable interior ambient lighting system. You can choose from one of 126 ambient colors to match your mood or interior color and trim choices, and change it up as much as you wish.
Fresh Color Palettes Mean More Interior Options
A rich leather interior has always been the standard for Cadillac, and for 2025 the brand builds on that standard. In addition to the seemingly serene exterior color choices, 2 new interior palette options are available for the 2025 Cadillac Escalade. Renaissance Red features a leather interior, faceted quilt and perforated seats, and a dark open pore wood veneer with a high contrast pore filler. Jet Black and Sheer Gray features contrasting leather and heathered grey fabric, faceted quilted and perforated seats, and high gloss wood veneer utilizing a linear marquetry technique for a special layering effect.
Seating for up to eight passengers and a power-folding third-row that folds flat add more cargo room to the luxury of the interior.
An Executive Second Row Adds Super Luxury to the 2025 Cadillac Escalade
This is a feature we’ve seen in Rolls-Royce and Mercedes-Maybach, and is a must for any super luxury SUV: A first-class second row experience. Here, Cadillac’s Executive Package features stowable tray tables, 12.6-inch-diagonal personal screens, a rear command center with climate controls, entertainment and sunroof shade controls, dual wireless phone charging pads, massaging seats, and headrest speakers.
Premium Sound Now Means Headrest Speakers
There’s nothing like a concert in your ears or the delight of an intimate listening experience when it comes to your favorite podcasters. To enhance the experience, buyers can upgrade from the standard AKG Studio 19-speaker audio system with the Reference audio system, a 40 speakers package. And, headrest speakers are included in the front seat; buyers of the Executive package will get headrest speakers, too.
There are even Speakers Framing the Multimedia Screen
Notice at the end of the multimedia screen is a small speaker; a small detail but an important one. Positioning speakers on the dashboard completes the look and feel of the media system and enhances the engineering of sound by positioning it specifically for the driver or passenger.
Then, notice the curved bar at the top of the steering wheel: This is the Super Cruise 3 hands-free driver assistance indicator and it is standard on all trims. This system allows you to take your hands off the wheel on mapped highways and and features an intuitive interface that makes it easy to use. There’s also a comprehensive suite of safety and connected services and a full-color head-up display standard on Premium Luxury, Sport, Premium Luxury Platinum, Sport Platinum, and V-Series trims.
New, Larger Wheels and A Refreshed Color Palette
New for the 2025 Escalade are 24-inch wheels, the biggest they have offered yet. Three new exterior colors join the collection: Aegean Stone, a bold, deep green-gray; Deep Sea Metallic, a rich metallic blue with a hint of gold in the highlight; and Latte Metallic, a modern light bronze with elegant metallic effect.
High Performance Details Define Interior Luxury
The 2025 Cadillac Escalade-V receives a new authentic carbon-fiber performance-focused interior, surrounded by a deep Jet Black leather interior and uniquely quilted and perforated seats exclusive to V-Series.
Cargo Capacity and Performance Shine Through
The 2025 Cadillac Escalade maintains its dedication to comfort, seating capacity, cargo space and flexibility for a quiet and smooth ride. Magnetic Ride Control 4.0 (standard on all trims except for the base model) and Air Ride adaptive suspension isolate passengers from uncomfortable road surfaces, absorbing potholes and speed bumps, while still providing precise steering and control.
Cadillac hasn’t announced pricing and probably won’t until production begins later this year. But for reference, the current Escalade starts at about $81,000 and the V series starts $154,000. Hefty prices, yes, but hefty performance and luxury, and now, the power to propel you quickly into the future.
