The 2019 Lincoln Nautilus Black Label edition is designed to pamper. And it does!
After driving the Lincoln Nautilus for the week, going back to my everyday SUV felt so strange! And what I mean by strange is that I no longer felt comfy and cushy in a luxurious bubble. A Black Label bubble, that is. (we’ll discuss what that is later!) Here’s why the Lincoln Nautilus Black Label is one fine choice.

It Everything a Girl Wants in a…Car
To begin, this crossover is large enough to fit a family and has plenty of cargo space, something women look for in a car. And the trendy mamas don’t need to sacrifice style with the Nautilus just to get the space and conveniences she needs. And speaking of cargo space – there’s plenty of room for those big Costco runs, groceries and more.
Gorgeous Gala Interior Details Make This Car a Showstopper
On the outside, you’ll notice the large grille, rear bumper exhaust and LED lights that make it stylish and sporty but at the same time, classic. The model I test drove came in the Black Label Gala Theme in Burgundy Velvet, which matches the car’s exterior. The interior details are seriously stunning and will satisfy your sensory needs. You cannot help but touch and feel every detail. The headliner, or the ceiling cover, is suede, the steering wheel is wrapped in leather and the seats are super soft and cushy. You can feel them massage you as you drive.

The Steering Wheel is Oh So Fancy!
It’s wrapped in leather, has chrome finishes and is heated. Once you try out a heated steering wheel, it’s quite addicting. Especially if you live in New Jersey as I do where there are more colder days than there are warm.
Comfortable Seating for All
The seats in the front and the back of the Lincoln Nautilus are extremely comfortable. The backseat has plenty of room and comfortably seats three adult-size passengers.
What is Black Label?
Black Label trim is basically the highest luxury you can buy in a Lincoln. There are different themes you can choose from, too. The car I drove came in the “Gala Gallery” theme. Classic, dramatic and romantic. Black Label is Lincoln’s approach not just to the car’s look and feel, but ownership, too: A concierge approach to ownership means you can have a car delivered for a test drive, they will pick it up when it needs complimentary service (or if there’s something wrong), all the free carwashes you want, annual detail service and owners have access to special travel, culinary and exclusive experiences. What We Loved About the Lincoln Nautilus
Driving a Black Label edition is a lot of fun. It’s jam-packed with all the luxury you can buy in the car. It’s a beautifully designed car with a classic American feel that offers a smooth ride, comfort, and space. What’s not to love about that?
Here are some other things I loved:
- Backseat comforts- the backseat is roomy and comfortably seats three adults. It also has its own seat warmers, air conditioning/heat vents and a 12V outlet.
- Panoramic Moonroof- lots of natural light and having a large moonroof is a lot of fun to look at the scenery when going on road trips.
- 3 prong household outlet- I LOVE that there is a 3 prong outlet in the car! I have gone through a few adapters that all broke. It means I can work from the car, charge my camera, and my daughter can also work on her laptop.
- Trunk space- the trunk in this car is just awesome. It measures 37.2 cubic ft to be exact. You can fit so much and I love the bag hooks for convenience.
- Hands-Free Trunk Release- open the trunk with by waving your foot under the door. So convenient!
- Revel Ultima audio system with 19-speakers
Safety Features Start With A Co-Pilot
It’s been the irony of luxury cars until now that the top safety technology features were often found in expensive optional packages. But Lincoln has added most features as standard equipment to all its models, then takes it up a bit in the Black Label model with Co-Pilot 360:
- Blind spot monitors with cross traffic alert
- 360-degree camera with camera wash
- Lane keeping system that keeps the car between the lines on the road
- Auto high beam headlights–set ’em and forget ’em; they bump up the light when you need it and tone it down when you don’t
- Pre-collision emergency braking
The Infotainment System is Easy to Navigate
At first, I thought there were too many buttons, but it actually made things easier. One of my pet peeves with newer cars is having to search for everything on the touch screen, like you would a computer. All of these buttons make things a little easier to navigate without looking at a screen. There’s even a button that opens up the glove compartment. It would be even better if it closed, too.
The system lets you connect to Apple Car Play or Android to listen to your own music and more. There’s also a CD player which is great. I love keeping a small selection of favorite CDs and I also like borrowing audio books from the local library. I guess you can call me old school.

You Can Fit a lot of Junk in this Trunk
One thing that stood out to me in the Lincoln Nautilus is the amount of cargo space it has. It measures 37.2 cubic feet which means you can go nuts on your Costco runs, load up the trunk with groceries and much more. The cargo area is also ventilated and conveniently has bag hooks. The backseats also fold down with the simple push of a button to create extra space. And that’s not all; with your key fob in your handbag or pocket, wave your foot under the rear bumper and the lift gate magically opens. Push a button on the lift gate to close it. If this were my car, I’d name it Alfred – this well dressed guy lives to cater to you.

- The upper-middle-class suburban family with 2-3 kids
- Working women who like luxury and need the extra trunk space
- Drivers looking for comfort and luxury details in a car
- Families with older kids (who won’t make backseat messes); the roomy backseat would work well for families
- Drivers who carpool and want a luxury ride
The Lincoln Nautilus comes in 4 trim levels. The with a starting price of $40,000, the Black Label edition tops out at $56,000. It’s definitely not a car for the frugal shopper but the girl who likes the finer things in life will surely appreciate it.
