What Car Would Your Favorite Game of Thrones Characters Drive?

There are no cars in the Game of Thrones world – but what if there were?

The final season of Game of Thrones premieres Sunday, April 14th and fans are out of their minds with excitement. The fantasy series is on its 8th Season and promises to thrill us and probably emotionally crush us if any of the rumors are true. It one of the most popular and one of the most expensive and epic TV series ever created.

And while no one drives a car in the world of Game of Thrones, it’s fun to think about the kinds of cars that would fit each character perfectly.

Spoiler warning through Season 7!

Jon Snow

The King in the North needs something suitable for winter weather. But his car would be understated since Jon’s not a flashy guy. I see Jon in the Range Rover Velar by Land Rover, a luxurious car that looks rugged, not pretentious. And it would need the highest trim level for all the bells and whistles to make his drive easier. Because he knows nothing.

Sansa Stark

Sansa is strong and capable, and she’s been through a lot. But she also likes the finer things in life. She belongs in the powerful, yet pretty, Kia Stinger.

Arya Stark

Arya “a girl is no one” Stark would need a fast, nimble car like the Mazda MX-5 Miata. And she’d definitely need a convertible so she could change the look of her car along with the look of her face.

Bran Stark

The Three-Eyed Raven should clearly be driving a Tesla Model S with autopilot features. Since he has no use of his legs and tends to go into a trance fairly often, he’ll need those autonomous driving features.

Cersei Lannister

Let’s face it, Cersei would never actually drive a car herself. She’d be driven around. Probably by The Mountain. She’d need something big and stately, like the Rolls Royce Phantom. In Royal Purple, of course.

Jamie Lannister

We’re not quite sure what to make of Jamie. He’s a bit of a scumbag, prone to pushing young boys out of towers and sleeping with his sister. But he’s also shown himself to be caring and moral now and then. He should have a car that reflects his “Kingslayer” image, but is also reliable, like the badass Mercedes-Benz SL Roadster.

Tyrion Lannister

Arguably everyone’s favorite character, Tyrion uses his intelligence and wit to overcome the prejudices he faces. And now he’s Hand of the Queen. He would drive a brilliant, flashy car like the Porsche Boxster.

Daeneryrs Targaryen

First of Her Name, The Unburnt, Breaker of Chains, and all that jazz. Daenerys needs a car that impresses. The Mother of Dragons would definitely choose something that at least looked a bit like a dragon, like this red Lamborghini Murcielago.

Grey Worm

The chosen Commander of the Unsullied would drive a Ford Mustang. It’s powerful, but not ostentatious. It’s also a romantic road trip car, great for whisking Missandei away for the weekend.

Theon Greyjoy

Poor Theon. Damn you, Theon! Aw, you’re sweet, Theon. Good for you, Theon! We’ve gone through just about every emotion with this guy. We never know if he’s going to do the right thing or the cowardly thing, so he needs a car that doesn’t make a huge statement. Something subtle like the Nissan Sentra.

Samwell Tarley

Sam’s a Maester and a family man. Wanting the best for Gilly and Little Sam, he’d be driving a car that’s the ultimate in safety and sensibility, like the Honda Odyssey.

Knight King

The supreme leader of the White Walkers has been around since the “age of First Men.” He’d be driving a car that demonstrates his power, but he’d care more about performance than looks. How about a great off-road truck like the Toyota Tundra? You know, because he brings the tundra wherever he goes.
