Heading home after a Super Bowl party or bar crawl? Stay safe with an Uber ride – and contribute to Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD).

Uber, the smartphone car service app, is donating $1 to MADD for every trip taken on Sunday, February 1, 2015 between 3 PM and 12 AM Eastern time; just enter the promo code THINKANDRIDE. And you can use it with Uber’s lower cost option, UberX.

Uber conducted a survey with Mothers Against Drunk Driving when UberX launched in California and found that drunk-driving crashes decreased by 60 per month for drivers under 30 – good news for drivers of any age.

In an article about Uber’s debut in Los Angeles, the New York Times wrote, “Untethered from their vehicles, Angelenos are suddenly free to drink, party and walk places.” Uber is in cities big and small, around the country – and the world – and allows you to dispense with appointing a designated driver.
