In the last few months, Chevrolet has rolled out two very important new electric cars—important to buyers who want an electric SUV: the Chevrolet Blazer EV and the Chevrolet Equinox EV. There are a lot of similarities and some big differences. And there are some things in both that convince you that this EV is right for you.

Both have some great advantages: They are built on GM’s Ultium battery platform, charge fast, go far on a charge, and qualify for federal and state incentives. Both are outfitted with renewable and recycled materials, have good storage, and have flexible space for passengers and cargo.

Both have great technology, with a large 17” multimedia screen and a built-in Google system that is now the standard for GM cars and trucks. But Apple CarPlay or Android Auto are not offered in GM’s EVs, as GM does not support that technology in its electric cars. Here’s what else you need to know.
