Ford Bronco Goes Beachy, Breezy and Bold in This Brilliant Collab with Alice + Olivia
This is the *add to cart* moment we've been waiting for.

Peanut butter and chocolate are a truly magic combo: they go together perfectly, each drawing out the other’s best characteristics and downplaying weaknesses. Most of us love the combination and many will always pick it as a top choice.
That perfect recipe is at the heart of the new Ford Bronco and Alice + Olivia collaboration.
This story is 100% human-researched and written based on actual first-person knowledge, extensive experience, and expertise on the subject of cars and trucks.
Living the Ford Life is Easier Than Ever

Ford loves to lean in on how we live our lives in their cars. The company created the Bronco Off-Roadeo experience so new (and future) owners can really learn how to off-road.
Ford Performance driving school is open to buyers of Mustang, Raptor and ST models. And anyone can shop the full collection of Ford merch, which is on sale at drive experiences, auto shows, pop-up events and more.
Taking the Ford Life Beyond the Enthusiast Realm

But what about the non-fans, those who aren’t fully immersed in the Ford life…yet? Or buyers who love their Bronco but never intend to trail ride or overland?
That’s what this collab is all about: Showing a different side of Bronco; its lighter, breezier, wind-in-your-hair personality through a small fashion collection and two custom Bronco Sasquatch models that bring the idea to life.

A 10-Piece Capsule Collection Embodies Bronco Heritage

Enter Alice + Olivia and creative director and CEO Stacey Bendet, who, as it happens, is a fan of the Ford Bronco. When Stacey created Alice + Olivia her mission was to empower women with bold, confident and fun fashion that lets us be us. The line, found on the designer floors of Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdales and other department stores, as well as independent boutiques and its own branded stores, brings a modern edge to classic pieces with bold patterns and colors.
Now, and until it’s sold out, the A+O X Bronco collection brings together modern and heritage Ford Bronco images and slogans, pairing them with iconic bellbottoms, jackets, shirts and tees, all delivering on the fresh, feminine A+O silhouette.

Two Bronco Models Complete the Picture Beautifully

The Bronco-themed collection could easily stand on its own, as could the two beach-themed Bronco Sasquatch models that Ford customized for this collaboration. With bright colors, vivid stickers and cloth tops for easy open-air driving, the collaborative palette creates a true aesthetic.
The two Bronco models were customized inside and out, with exteriors wrapped in the A+O collection’s colors. But the interiors are a standout, with brass, blonde wood and dash and door panels that take on a light sand tone, all of it complementing the light two-tone seats. The interiors are a true departure for Bronco design and maybe the most beautiful interior Ford has ever produced.

How the Partnership Was Born

Yes, Stacey is a Bronco fan, but that was more of a seal-the-deal factor than the birth of an idea, which came from Ford. With the goal of broadening the appeal of the Bronco beyond the core off-road audience, Ford worked with talent and consulting agency CAA—Creative Artists Agency, which represents Zendaya, Reese Witherspoon, Ryan Murphy and Steven Spielberg—to find the perfect brands and develop the right collaboration.
For Ford, potential partners have to share the same values and goals. That meant digging into business plans, understanding priorities and processes, and having a shared willingness to invest in a collaboration.
If partners don’t really understand each other, things can get messy, even with something as simple as a 10-piece capsule collection.

How It Came Together

Once the two partners decided this project was a good match, the creative team from Alice + Olivia got to work springing ideas for a collection. Ford offered an archive of images and intellectual property for the designers to work with. Together creative teams from both companies crafted vision boards of both the fashion collection and the Bronco Sasquatch models that would be a backdrop to the collection.
Both teams worked together to tweak all elements and ensure it all fit, and finally, the fashion collection made its debut on the Alice + Olivia site. And those Bronco models? They will be auctioned off; the first auction will take place in July at God’s Love We Deliver Midsummer Night Drinks to benefit the charity. The other custom Bronco will also be auctioned off, too, but Ford hasn’t yet said when or where that will happen.
More Collaborations are on the Horizon—Thankfully

The collection’s bellbottom jeans and heritage jackets are a striking moment in both the classic age of Bronco and the modern one, with a foot in both places. The cropped tees and hoodies, also vintage in feel, add a cute graphic look with a cheeky message. Two long sleeve blouses work as classic day-to-out pieces that’ll spark a knowing look or question. The collection is both collectable and wearable and one that fans will hope continues into a second act.
Even if Ford doesn’t strike up a second collab with Alice + Olivia, there are more in store, the company says. After shopping this one, we can’t wait to see what’s next.
