2020 Buick Enclave Avenir: Cruising with the Family

Where are we going this weekend?

That’s become my daughter’s favorite question to ask every Friday. Since we’re still at home, weekends have become our road trip days. Whether it’s a local drive to say hello to grandparents or a scenic one, it’s our new way of going out. And we usually get some treats while we’re at it. Ice cream, lattes, smoothies- you name it. So for Memorial Day weekend, we did just that. In the 2020 Buick Enclave Avenir.

Memorial Day weekend was a bit rainy so we only got to cruise in the Enclave for a couple of days. We drove to a park for a picnic, saw some sights and drove by my parents to wish my dad a happy birthday. All socially distant activities. And though it was only a couple of days, that did give me enough time to get to acquainted with the car. As soon as I opened the door, I noticed all of the luxury details. Leather seats (that massage you), wood grain details, a charging pad for the phone, a place to store your handbag and more. This is no ordinary 3rd row SUV. This is the SUV a stylish mom opts for instead of a minivan. It’s luxe and has plenty of amenities for the kids.

Get an Inside Look…

We only had it for the weekend but I have to say, it’s a really classy, fully-loaded SUV!

What We Loved

My daughter loves spacious cars. She gets cozy in the 3rd row, plugs in her phone and pretty much ignores us. She loves us calling out to her and thinks it’s hilarious when her dad says, “hello back there! Can you hear me?” When she’s done binge watching stuff on her phone and wants to connect with us again, she hops to the 2nd row and enjoys gazing out the sunroof. While we don’t really need a 3rd row, this is definitely a great choice for families who road trip often or have more than one child.

  • comfortable leather seats
  • spacious
  • a safe place to store your handbag
  • 6 USB ports
  • quiet cabin
  • power moonroof (allows passengers to see sunny skies)
  • 8 inch display
  • luxury design and sleek interior style
  • Bose premium audio system (sounds crisp and clear)
  • wood tone trim
  • spacious center console (so spacious!)
  • 20″ aluminum wheels with pearl nickel finish
  • beautiful ebony-themed interior
  • logo displayed underneath the trunk at night

Peace of Mind for Mom

If your kid suffers from allergies like mine does, you will appreciate the Buick Enclave’s Air Ionizer. This feature provides higher air quality inside the cabin by eliminating odors and pollutants. Passengers will also appreciate this when driving through smelly areas.

When it comes to safety, this car has you covered with its HD surround cameras and sound and touch to alert you off passing cars or pedestrians. And by touch I mean that the seat vibrates as the alert sound goes off. It’s as if the car were giving you a nudge and saying, ‘hey, watch out for that car!’

Luxury for All

The Enclave Avenir is designed to be a higher caliber of luxury. It’s packed with amenities and luxury features including:

  • Leather seats (for 7)
  • Driver and front passenger massage feature
  • Heated and ventilated front driver and heated back seats
  • A very comfortable 3rd row (with USB ports and cupholders)
  • QuietTuning and active noise cancellation enhancements help to reduce and block outside noise keeping it from entering the cabin.

Your Passengers Will Have Nothing to Complain About

Let’s talk about tech in the Enclave. 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot is standard in the Buick Enclave. Plus, it has the capability to pair up to seven devices and includes six USB ports and includes a wireless charging pad (in the front). Plenty of charging ports and Wi-Fi to keep everyone entertained. The backseat also has an three prong outlet.

Plenty of Cargo Room

There is sooo much cargo room in the Buick Enclave. If you’re looking for lots of space, this is it. The cargo volume with the second and third row folded down is a massive 97.6 cu. ft. Think about all the Home Goods hauls you can do with that! Did I mention it has a hands-free power liftgate? No struggling to get the trunk open on your own.

What Else Can You Tell Me About the Buick Enclave Avenir?

The most notable updates on the 2020 model are the new 8-inch touchscreen, four-way power lumbar seats for front passengers, rear and surround vision camera system, 20-inch alloy wheels, sporty grille and more. But GM’s main goal: ultimate comfort. I think they achieved that with the 2020 Buick Enclave Avenir.

This SUV starts at $53,800, the Buick Enclave Avenir offers customers attainable luxury design, performance and tech. 18/26 MPG city / highway fuel. Has a 3.6L V6 310-hp engine, is Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatible and seats up to 7 passengers.

We had a great time cruising in the 2020 Buick Enclave Avenir. Although it’s a little bigger than what I am used to, it was so comfortable to drive. I loved the massaging leather seats and style of this SUV and I would recommend it to anyone looking for style, luxury, comfort and space.
