One of Canada’s largest auto shows is on this weekend, with more than 450 new and customized vehicles for 2017. At the Vancouver Convention Centre West you can see hundreds of new vehicles, find activities and lots of time for pressure-free tire kicking. The show runs through Sunday, April 2nd and is the best-attended consumer auto show in Western Canada.

The convention center is filled with new vehicles, a vintage collection of Chevy trucks are on display at Dueck Garage, and Volkswagen Canada offers the Playcare center so bring the kids and let them play while you browse the show.

Toyota Sweeps the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC) Green Car Awards

The  2017 Canadian Green Car of the Year winners were announced this week and the 2017 Toyota Prius and 2017 Toyota Rav4 Hybrid took top honors. You can see the rest of the AJAC’s winners here.

Ford GT on Display for the First Time on the West Coast

The Vancouver International Auto Show boasts the Ford GT for the first time on Canada’s West Coast. This handmade vehicle will run you approximately $450,000 USD and Ford Canada produces one per day.

Ford Introduces the EcoSport

A compact SUV with plenty of space and technology, the small SUV will be ideal for millennials and small families. The cornerstone of EcoSport technology is available with SYNC 3 with compatible Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It’s enhanced voice recognition capability makes it incredibly simple and smart to use. You can operate the available 8-inch touchscreen navigation system like your smartphone with swipe capability and pinch to zoom.
