Get Ready for a Thrill Ride! Season 4 of Formula 1: Drive to Survive Is Here
I’m on the edge of my seat, waiting for my behind-the-scenes look at Formula 1 racing…in front of my television.
Can you feel the excitement building? The long-awaited fourth season of Formula 1: Drive to Survive premiered on Netflix on Friday, March 11. The series gives its viewers exclusive, intimate access to the movers and shakers of the sport in one of the world’s greatest racing competitions.
I’m looking forward to all the behind-the-scenes action and production yet again of all things Formula 1. I love watching the drivers live their lives in the fast lane both on and off the track. Cue the smoke and drama!

What’s Going to Happen with Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton?
Speaking of drama, I wonder what will happen in the rivalry between British-born rising star Landon Norris and royal racer of Madrid Carlos Sainz Jr? There was also a close fight brewing between both Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton for the winner’s circle at the Drivers’ Championship in Abu Dhabi.
Even though I know how it all winds up, it’s fun to watch how it all goes down. Season 3 ended with the feuds at a fever pitch, and that’s exactly where Season 4 plans to pick up.

This Show Made Me an F1 Fan
Here’s a fun fact: The show is responsible for attracting more than 73 million new fans and enthusiasts alike to the sport of auto racing, according to a recent Nielsen study. The popularity of the show was so great that it’s been nominated and won a number of awards. Its producers, James Gay-Rees and Paul Martin, were nominated for a World Car Awards Person of the Year Award. This is a first for a non-automotive executive.
Because of the popularity of F1, fans are petitioning for a second US-based race in Miami this year, beach club included.
Admittedly, I’m a new fan of Formula 1 racing, and it’s all due to this show. It’s the adrenaline-pumping, high-speed, fast-paced action and conflict that instantly drew me in. I’m also loving the look into the business side of auto racing and the direction of its multibillion-dollar franchises.
Now that I’m part of the 73 million fans club, I’m excited to tune in to Season 4. I’ve got my snacks and racing helmet ready at the pit stop, and I’m buckled up and ready to ride!
