This competition kicks up a lot of dust, but with a lot of style.

As quickly as it started, it finished! The Rebelle Rally really blew up some dust this year, and we took in the off-road off-the-grid competition…offsite. In addition to watching the daily Live Action map of the course, we navigated social media and followed hashtags and had our eyes on too many teams and vehicles to pick our favorites.

The Rebelle Rally has earned a reputation as a proving ground for auto manufacturers, and that means plenty of eye-candy for car and truck enthusiasts. In the spirit of red carpet event coverage, here’s a few of the competitor vehicles and teams that have caught our attention.

Best Dressed

Let’s admit it, the first thing to catch our eyes is color. Style and design are important and these women bring a lot of it. So we picked a favorite in every color of the rainbow.

Electrifying Eye Catchers

When you think of off roading in mountains, deserts and dunes, you likely imagine Jeeps, trucks, and lots of fuel. Not always so at the Rebelle Rally, which  in 2020 saw the debut of fully electric competitor vehicles, and a new category designation “Electrified,” to recognize EV and PHEV vehicles within the 4×4 and X Cross classes. This year brought more, and we suspect the number of electrified entries will continue to grow.

Highly Vetted Vehicles

This year also welcomed the highest number of military veteran competitors.

Warmest Fuzziest: Canine Competitor Debut

Another debut came along with a team of veterans, but is worthy of it’s very own honorable mention. This year the Rebelle Rally welcomed it’s first canine competitor! Sammy the Service Dog was along from start to finish.

You can see all the standings from the rally on the organization’s site, and find more on the competitors and their vehicles on Rebelle Rally’s Instagram or by following the #rebellerally hashtag.

We can’t wait to see what this amazing group of competitors brings to the rally next year!
