After touring the Maseratis, Ferraris and the Pagani on view at the Miami Auto Show,  it’s time to turn to the practical luxuries on display. Here are some other cars that made news in Miami:

2015 Nissan Murano

The newly redesigned Nissan Murano: Inside the more aggressively designed Murano, which has new headlights and a ‘floating’ roof, passenger seats have been upgraded to ‘zero gravity’ seats, meaning they support the human shape in a way that reduces fatigue and increases comfort. The addition of Nissan’s ‘smart rear view mirror,’ lets you see the rear camera view as well as a reflective view. It has 20% better gas mileage (up from about 18/24 in the 2014 model year) and in the model on the show floor, this gorgeous blonde wood paneling on the doors, dash and center console.

Designated “Official Show Car,” The 2015 Mustang takes center stage at the Miami Auto Show. Inside the Ford booth, though, the 2015 Ford Edge shows off its redesigned lines and high-tech features like lane keep assist, auto parking and a front-facing camera that sees things the driver can’t, all in the streamlined and low-key interior.

The 2015 Camry ‘Bold’ is redesigned from the ground up, with insights from customers for every detail. The result is a bolder, more aggressive look (and a front grille that shares its look with Lexus) packed with all sorts of cool features, including fold flat rear seats, a wireless charging pad for phones, blind spot monitoring, crash mitigation and more.

The 2015 Hyundai Azera makes its North American debut at the Miami Auto Show. With a more aggressive and even more expensive look, the Azera is loaded with luxury and technology features all at a lower price than competitive models in the same category.

The GMC Canyon is a new entry the very popular truck market. Designed for drivers who need the utility of a truck but appreciate the flexibility of driving a sedan or SUV—easy to maneuver, park and not as pricey at the gas pump— the Canyon is also filled with the same comfort and technology as  GMC’s other popular full sized trucks and SUVs, from apps to adaptive cruise control to lots of flexible storage, both in the cabin and in the truck bed.

Lexus touted its RC F sports coupe by putting it on a central platform, and in citrusy orange it’s certainly alluring but the Lexus NX200t got our attention: a luxury crossover with the tight, sporty feel of a car built for speed, yet it’s great for the city where parking can be tight, or

for sporting weekends that demand all wheel drive and cargo capacity. And, for spoiling passengers who like their leather fine and their technology super smart.

2015 Fiat Ribelle

If you like to feel as if your life is a chapter in a fabulous cinematic tale, the Fiat Ribelle and Urbana make a good backdrop: The Ribelle takes the “pop” feel of the Fiat a new direction; the two-door hatchback is outfitted with a manual transmission and available in white and red. The Urbana Trekker brings a rugged edge to the larger five-door version with a roomier back seat. It is available in white with black trim accents.
