Looking for luxury and fuel economy? You will have to wait a bit for the Jaguar XE, which will come in both diesel and regular gas models, along with rear drive and all wheel drive versions. The sleek compact car is expected to come to the United States in Spring 2016.
The Detroit Bureau said that fuel economy for the new Jaguar has not been announced, but it is expected that the diesel sedan will get about 40 miles per gallon. And it will have sport car performance, plus Jag’s usual good looks.
Jaguar says the lightweight aluminum car will feature a laser Heads-Up Display, Wi-fi hotspot and InControl Remote, which will allow smartphone users to unlock or start the car from their phones. The new car is the first Jaguar designed since Tata Motors took over the British car company.
