The Genesis Inspiration Foundation Is Driving Change Through Arts Programs

You know how some companies just get it? Like, they understand that it’s not just about selling a product, but it’s about leaving a legacy that makes a difference in people’s lives?
You’ve probably heard of Genesis as a brand known for pushing boundaries in luxury and innovation in the automotive industry, but its commitment extends far beyond designing exceptional cars, and so far, has made more than $10 million in donations to arts programs that benefit kids and their communities.
This story is 100% human researched and written based on actual first-person knowledge, extensive experience and expertise on the subject of cars and trucks. No AI was used. Additionally, I was a guest of Genesis to learn more about Exploring the Arts.
What Do Arts Programs Have to do With Genesis’ Luxury Cars?

What you probably don’t know is Genesis has made a commitment to improving education outcomes for children through their nonprofit organization, the Genesis Inspiration Foundation.
Through this foundation, Genesis proves they don’t just care about the cars you drive; they care about the people in them—and they’re making a real difference beyond the road.

The Genesis Inspiration Foundation is an Exploring the Arts Benefactor

This week I was invited to witness the Genesis Inspiration Foundation donating $20,000 to Exploring the Arts (ETA), and honestly, it was so inspiring.
ETA is an organization that helps principals and teachers develop sustainable arts programs and better leverage the arts to strengthen student learning and engagement. Its out-of-school student programs nurture youth development through arts programs, college and career preparedness, and social-emotional skill building.
Home is Where the Art is

Since 2018, the Genesis Inspiration Foundation has provided more than $10 million to support arts education in under-resourced communities, ensuring children from all backgrounds have access to the transformative power of the arts.
“Having students who are learning, who are engaged in their school community brings immense benefits to the larger community as a whole,” Rubi Fregoso, Interim Executive Director for Exploring the Arts said.
“These are students who find a home at their schools because they are involved in the arts. That home creates confidence. That home creates the ability to find community, and it makes them true citizens of where they are. That opportunity for young people is invaluable.”

Healthy, Growing Communities Need Arts Programs

When organizations like Exploring the Arts are empowered to build stronger, sustainable arts programs in schools, it benefits entire communities. According to a study conducted by the University of Florida, students who participate in arts programs show improved academic performance, greater emotional well-being, and enhanced social skills—outcomes that contribute to a more connected and thriving community.
For us as a society, this means better-equipped schools, more engaged students, and a future workforce filled with well-rounded, creative thinkers. The investment in arts education ripples outward, creating a better environment for all children to learn and grow.
Creative Arts Leads to a Generation of Inspired Thinkers

As women and as parents, we get how important this is. We’re raising the next generation, trying to create better opportunities for children and grandchildren, and knowing there’s a company out there that’s invested in our families … that’s huge!
And to see our kids grow through exploring ideas, developing creative thinking and feeling connected to each other through art … that’s priceless.
More Than Cars: Genesis Gives Back

At the heart of Genesis’ commitment is the belief that inspiration is the greatest luxury they can offer—both on the road and in life.
“Supporting causes like this comes from the heart,” Peter Lanzavecchia, board member of Genesis Inspiration Foundation and president of Genesis of Cherry Hill said. “It’s so important to understand that this support has a real impact on kids’ lives, and while we can all get busy throughout the year representing the brand, servicing our customers, and selling cars, we often have to take that moment to remember the most important things about our business.”
Art and Design Are Fundamental Elements for Genesis, Too

It’s clear that a fundamental element of the Genesis brand is design. From the use of unique materials such as repurposed newsprint to the most distinctive lighting design to interior colors that illuminate the cabin, Genesis places a high value on creativity. That the Genesis Inspiration Foundation chose to support education through the arts programs is not a surprise.
Because art inspires.
It teaches.
It entertains.
Art Interprets Our Past and Peeks Into Our Future

Art affects how we view ourselves and think of each other. It helps us understand the past and the present. And when looked at the right way, art can offer a glimpse of the future.
Arts programs are often where that starts: allowing children to explore, to stretch, to create allows them to expand their thinking, and that’s critical to all our futures.
That Genesis gets this not only helps them to push their own boundaries in design and luxury; it helps them carve out a space for art to grow and help build a world where every child has the chance to dream big. And honestly, that makes me love the brand even more.
