Honda Has the Cars for You When You’re All about the Music
A quiet car lets you hear every single note.
If you’re looking for a fun ride that lets you really listen to your music, Honda‘s 2020 hybrids might just do it for you. They are super quiet and let you focus on the music and the road, not a roaring, gas-guzzling engine. I took three of them for a test drive–testing out both the car and the sound system– and this is what I thought.
Taking the Insight for a Spin
After a test drive, I have to say – the Honda Insight does not disappoint. And being a self-proclaimed audiophile, I liked the Honda Insight even more as soon as I cranked the powerful and premium sound system.
See, I really enjoy music. All kinds of music- from country to hip hop. The Hybrid is all about sound and style.

The Insight is a sedan with great style. It is innovative, futuristic and sleek. I was excited to get behind the wheel and take it for a spin along the streets of Austin, TX, a town that doesn’t look down on you for blasting your tunes in a totally silent car. While cruising along the streets of Austin I was reminded of a Childish Gambino music video where he is finessing the crowd with his charm. This car charmed me.
At other moments, the Insight gave me Gary Clark Jr. vibes, especially when speeding up to merge on the freeway. Quiet doesn’t mean lack of power and power comes with g-force; Insight delivered plenty of that. And that sound system: oh so sweet.

The 2020 Honda Accord… For a Bit More Adult Experience
I have always loved the Honda Accord. It is so sleek and very stylish! Growing up in Michigan, all of the cool girls had one. Unfortunately, I ended up with a 10-year-old Ford Tempo. Don’t get me wrong. I loved my car, but I know I would have loved a new Honda Accord a lot more. The 2020 hybrid is the freshest design yet and the sound system gave me a nostalgic feeling, bringing me back home.

Honda Clarity Plug-In Hybrid
This might be the best of them all: The Clarity, another model I loved, can be driven using either electric or gas. And from what I noticed it has more of an eclectic feel! Plug it in for an all-electric drive–up to 47 miles– and from there the hybrid engine kicks in. If you plug it in daily you many never need to buy gas.
And of course, it’s totally silent. When I heard the sound system I was so impressed. I could envision myself driving (silently) down the freeway and singing (loudly) to Lizzo.
