Not just good eats, but luxury cars, too.
If you’re heading to the New York Auto Show this week, you may want to treat yourself after a long day at the Javits Center. Intersect by Lexus is located in Manhattan’s Meatpacking District. You can relax and have a bite, a handcrafted cocktail or a great meal from one of New York’s greatest kitchens featuring top chefs from around the world.
At Intersect, Lexus wants you to experience the Lexus lifestyle without having to get behind the wheel. Sure, you will see a Lexus or a wall filled with car parts but it’s not a dealer and there are no pushy salesmen around. It’s a place of fine dining, culture, and entertainment.
Stop in for Your Coffee Fix
New Yorkers are usually pressed for time. But there’s always time for coffee. The street-level cafe offers pastries, espresso, and light bites.
You Will Never Get Bored of the Menu
Not only are there a good amount of options, but the menu also changes every 4-6 months. This gives diners the chance to experience a variety of different meals prepared by multi-cultural chefs. Intersect by Lexus and Union Square Hospitality Group have come together to make this happen. The hospitality group runs other loved restaurants and is well known in the industry.
You can see Intersect’s current menu here.
Thirsty? Head over to the second floor for handcrafted cocktails with ingredients such as ginger, rosewater, and elderflower to name a few. These are no ordinary cocktails. They’re unique, fun and delicious. Not to mention, the restaurant has an extensive wine and beer menu.
Yes, You Can Even Do a Little Shopping at Intersect by Lexus.
Guests can shop a carefully curated collection of finer pieces at CRAFTED for Lexus. These are artisan creations which are handcrafted and sold exclusively at Intersect by Lexus. Offerings range from gracious objets d’art, such as a beautifully designed vase, to the completely useful, like the sublimely simple coffee maker to the indulgent, such as elegant eyewear.
All in the Details
Lexus is all about the finer details. And Intersect is no different. Designs and details define the space, from framed photos that show behind the scenes work and sketches of Lexus models to a wall of car parts that adorn a hallway. The uniquely beautiful design of Intersect’s NYC location was created by interior designer Masamichi Katayama and the Wonderwall team. There are two other locations in the world; Tokoyo and Dubai.
Even the Restrooms are Interesting
One of the Lexus core values is called “Omotenashi,” a commitment to guests, creating exceptional hospitality. The brand aims to create a great experience for guests. So it’s no wonder that even the restrooms would be unique. The restroom features a beautiful marble communal sink surrounded by private bathroom stalls. The style is very modern and minimalist.
Thinking of stopping by? Intersect by Lexus is open to the public; you don’t need to be a Lexus owner to make a reservations for lunch or dinner, which is recommended. The bar, lounge and cafe don’t require a reservation but arrive early; no doubt they will be busy!
