Chrysler Voyager Minivan: What We Love About Pacifica, With a More Affordable Price Tag

But don’t fret; if you are in the mood to get fancy, Pacifica has a new look for you, too.

Minivans are great for families, but they also make fantastic Uber rides, shuttles, and cars for small businesses. Owners who have stowed all the seats to haul building supplies, antiques or cater a wedding know: Pacifica’s wide interior, accessible doors, and tailgate and wheel wells that don’t take up interior room make this the next best thing to a full-size cargo van.

So, to make these features and more available to buyers who don’t want all the bells and whistles such as in-car entertainment systems and upgraded technology, Chrysler introduces new Voyager minivan for 2020. Really just a re-named version of the base models’ Chrysler Pacifica L and LX, think of Voyager as the entry-level minivan, perfectly budget-friendly and still offering seven-passenger seating and Apple CarPlay or Android Auto smartphone compatibility … which every “mom-mobile” should have, in my opinion.

While Chrysler hasn’t officially revealed pricing, indications are the Voyager L will start at $28,480, including the delivery charge. Standard features on both models include cloth upholstery, 17-inch wheels, second-row bench seats, and a 7.0-inch infotainment touchscreen. The upper trim Voyager LX at $31,290 will include upgrades like 17-inch aluminum wheels, three-zone climate control, and second-row bucket seats.

Inside the Voyager LX features include satellite radio, second-row captains chairs and in-floor storage bins. Not standard, but available options on the Voyager L and LX is a safety package which includes: rear parking assist, cross traffic warning, blind spot monitoring, with optional heated front seats and steering wheel. The roof rack and single overhead DVD are also an option on the Voyager LX.

Chrysler’s classic Stow ‘n Go seats aren’t on the Voyager’s options list, but they’re standard on every Pacifica.

A Sharp New “Red S” Pacifica Style Package Will Make 2020 Look Even Better

Expanding the appeal of the Pacifica, Chrysler added a “Red S” package to the Pacifica Limited trim model. Pricing is not yet available, but the look is stunning.

The red leather makes the minivan feel even more bright and open; the red leather really glows in the light of the minivan’s three-panel sun roof. Even the third-row passengers have access to a sunroof and side window shades, ensuring they’re not feeling cramped back there.

Inspired by the popular blacked-out look of the “S” package in the past and to further delight customers looking for a distinct interior, the new Pacifica Limited “Red S” package, available on both gas and hybrid models, features:
