Cadillac XT4: A Demure Luxury SUV with Tons of Style
The Cadillac XT4’s style is on point.
All I had to do was browse through my thirty-plus photos of this beauty and I quickly found MORE than ten things that I loved about the style of the XT4.
This compact crossover is perfect for a small family or a city dweller who wants the height and safety of an SUV without the typical size.
So let’s get started, shall we? These are the things I loved about the style and looks of the Cadillac XT4, an all-new model from Cadillac this year.
For more tech specs and overall review, check out our previous post with all the details on this new-to-market crossover.
1.Rear View
There is something about large rear tires on a car for me. A compact crossover with this view makes it look sporty and fun, not just functional.
I love the wide stance and Cadillac’s signature tall tail lights, giving it an elegant yet vibrant appearance.
2. Front Grille + Headlights
Standard LED headlights on the Cadillac XT4 along with the black diamond grille gives this model a classic look. The overall lines of the body are sleek and compact.
3. Simplicity: One Touchscreen
The simplicity of the dashboard and infotainment controls are appreciated. In some vehicles, multiple screens and far too many buttons, touchpads and joysticks over-complicate what is supposed to be the simple act of driving from point A to point B. We want safety, functionality, and convenience. The Cadillac dash and infotainment system provide this. The simple layout of the buttons beneath the touchscreen keep everything neat, tidy and easily within reach while driving.

4. Huge Moonroof/sunroof
The giant moonroof allows a lot of light within the cabin making it feel even larger, and it’s roomy, to begin with, and even adults in the rear would feel very comfortable because of the extra light.
5. Interior color
The white (Wheat) leather is beautiful! There are three interior colors to choose from – Jet Black, Sedona (a rich brown) and Wheat, which is absolutely modern and elegant.
6. Sleek Exterior Lines
The lines on the XT4 are refined and simple. For a compact crossover, it suits a busy family or an urbanite who wants a classic Cadillac with the feel of an SUV.
7. Simple Steering Wheel controls
Along with the touchscreen and infotainment controls being simple and straightforward, the steering wheel controls are also simple and include music, dash settings, cruise control, and phone calls.
8. Robust Shoulder-Check View
As you can see in this photo, a shoulder-check to the right gives you a very broad and open view out of the back and side of the vehicle. The rear side windows have extra panels to add more visibility.
9. Roomy Cargo
There is plenty of space throughout the XT4, including legroom for all passengers and the driver. As Scotty mentions in her full review about the XT4, there is room for car seats in the rear due to the bench seat and yet the LATCH clips are hidden under the leather overlay.
10. Modern Luxury
It may be small, but that’s the point. There aren’t very many compact crossovers on the market yet, and with luxury, there are even less to choose from. The XT4 has it all for this category.
