Who This Truck is For

  • Sportswomen who love the outdoors… from camping to kayaking or fishing this big truck is made for getting to and from your adventure destination.
  • Small families who need a lot of legroom and cargo area in the backseat.
  • Singles or couples who want a truck, and want something big.
  • Anyone who loves full-size pickups that make a lifestyle statement.

What the Toyota Tundra TRD Pro Costs

The 2019 Toyota Tundra starts at $33,425, which isn’t bad for a full-sized truck. But this is the base model, knowns as the SR and doesn’t have the full four-door back seat configuration, which you’ll probably want once you’ve had a chance to sit in both.

The 2019 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro starts at $52,780 and boasts high-performance Fox shocks, LED fog lights and headlamps, skid plates, and a specially tuned exhaust in addition to the capability, comfort and safety you’ve come to expect from a Toyota truck.

The model I drove started at $49,645 and topped out at $55,106 thanks to some additional equipment including a performance air filter, side-steps, Tonneau cover, bed extender, center console tray, spray-on bed liner, tie-down hooks, spare tire lock, paint protection film, and a universal tablet mount for the back seat.

The Toyota Tundra TRD Pro is a Beast

In short, the Tundra TRD Pro is the loudest, bulkiest, least fuel-efficient truck in its segment, but it’s also a crowd favorite. Owners gladly sacrifice a few miles per gallon for the experience of owning and driving this truck because it really is in a class of its own. According to Tundra owners I’ve known over the years, these trucks last forever… 300+ miles and still going strong isn’t uncommon. Get out and drive one, and see if you too, fall in love with the beast.
