Just The Facts: 2019 Kia Niro EV
If you’re looking for a fully electric car for your family, the Kia Niro could be it.
The 2019 Kia Niro EV surprised the heck out of me. I fell in love with a car that I had thought I would find awkward to look at and boring to drive. Not so!
From the moment I hopped in, I was taken aback by everything from the fun-to-drive factor to the cute rounded edges of the body style of this sort-of-crossover.

What We Loved About the 2019 Kia Niro EV
While it may not truly be a crossover as it lacks the ground clearance, it is higher than a sedan, so you have a bit more elevated outward visibility.
The torque and speed of this little surprising beast make this car an extremely fun drive. If you have not driven a fully electric car yet, I urge you to get to your nearest dealer and take one for a spin. It’s truly an experience, it feels completely different than a ‘normal’ internal combustion, or GAS engine.
What’s not to love about saving money by NOT having to buy gas!? Plug this sucker into your home outlet for a top-up, or bring it to your nearest Level 2 or Fast charging station. Read more about how that all works in my post about fitting an EV into your lifestyle.
