Mercedes-Benz USA Makes Its Presence Felt In Atlanta

New Mercedes-Benz Stadium will be home to 2 sports teams.
Mercedes-Benz USA is no carpetbagger. The company moved its corporate headquarters to Atlanta just a month ago and has now agreed to be the named sponsor of the new multi-purpose stadium, which will be called Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
The Mercedes-Benz Stadium will be home to both the National Football League’s Atlanta Falcons and Major League Soccer’s Atlanta United, and will host concerts and other entertainment.
Like a roadster: it’s a convertible!

The stadium, currently under construction in downtown Atlanta, is scheduled to open in 2017. It will feature a retractable roof and extensive use of natural light. The roof is an homage to oculus in the ancient Rome Pantheon, but the stadium is also forward thinking; designers are seeking the highest level LEED certification.
The stadiums will have a giant 360-degree HD video board, an outside fan plaza and a technology lounge.
Mercedes-Benz USA is also building new corporate headquarters in the metropolitan Atlanta region.
