Connected Cars on the Way

The Chevrolet AppShop was unveiled on January 5, 2014 at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada.    This new technology will bring drivers even closer to the technology used in their daily lives right from within their vehicle.  The Chevrolet AppShop will be available on select 2015 models in the US and Canada, including the Corvette, Impala, Volt, Silverado, Equinox, and Malibu.

Through the enhanced Chevy MyLink system, drivers can safely interact with their music, news, weather, and essential information.  Each app within the Chevrolet AppShop has been specifically designed and optimized for use within a car.  Drivers will benefit from clean and easy to use interfaces, limited access where necessary, and increased sound options.  All available apps can be viewed in the AppShop and then downloaded to the vehicle where they can be organized and updated according to user preferences.

IHeartRadio, Priceline.com, Cityseeker, The Weather Channel, TuneIn Radio, Kaliki, NPR, Slacker Radio, and Glympse are just a few of the apps that will be available within the AppShop when it becomes available later this year.
